A Marine vet thought he found a ‘home’ working at the VA. Now he’s one of 1,000 fired.

Marine veteran Andrew Lennox, who was let go Thursday, said, “I feel like someone from outside of our family is trying to tell us how to run it and telling me I don’t belong, and that’s really angered me.”

Lennox noted, "The irony of saying ‘We’ve saved money to help veterans’ by firing veterans just kind of blows my mind."

The MAGA strategy:

3) Demand massive cuts to programs that all Americans rely on.

Well, at least the Emoluments Clause is dead, all the Jan 6th terrorists and cop beaters are free, and those tax cuts for the rich will be permanent!

If they achieve success early, then don't put it past them to cut Medicaid and attempt to cut Medicare. Make it hard. I think it's likely Trump will stumble us into a recession with tariffs, cuts, and pressuring the Fed to reduce interest rates, so we'll get inflation again. Some T supporters are waking up to how bad this can get and regretting their votes. DOGE will likely go down in infamy. I just want the Democracy to survive, and I think we are OK so far there.

Dope and Jedi have to realize that the price of eggs had more influence than 30,000 lies, or anything they ever did.. The border problem helped, but is there anything in that budget that increases the money so that we can process illegals out legally and as cheaply as we can? Those military flights are supposed to cost us much more than civilian contracting. No one's dealing well with how we house illegals, etc. because we're getting catch and release.

So we watch and wait to see if our Constitution and Democracy survive.

If anyone wants to cut taxes, they are not serious about the budget. It's as simple as that. No amount of acceptable (to the American people) spending cuts can come close to balancing the budget. So, tax cuts should be off the table. Tax increases should be being explored, identifying those that are not paying much (if anything).

It's really simple math. No trig or calculus required. Just arithmetic.**
