Ok, so if we give Z a hug. and we say "We support you till the end" is that enough?
That's what the Europeans are doing.
Where's the war bonds?
Where's the rationing?
Where's the sacrifice?
Why doesn't Europe lead by example and back Ukraine to the hilt?
BTW - why didn't Biden give Z *everything* he asked for vis a vis weapons?

That's what the Europeans are doing.
Nope. Not even close.
Numerous European nations are sending arms and supplies to Ukraine. Some more than others. For its size, Poland is contributing a tremendous amount. Ukraine is de-facto adopting the NATO standard because they are getting so much NATO equipment.
Were it not for that, they'd be in deep doo-doo. The US hasn't been a reliable supplier. But we still have been an important one.
A quick check shows that Europe as a whole has contributed 132B euros, while the US has contributed 114B euros. So Europe is actually doing MORE than we are, which totally nukes your thesis.

OK, so why haven't they told Bully Arrogant America "get out of here. We got this. You don't wanna help? Fine. Don't"

Because they would be crazy to do that if they could get the largest arms dealer on the planet to supply them with 'stuff', even obsolete stuff (by our standards, not by most countries' standards). Every bit helps.
Also, I was addressing your claim that Europe wasn't doing anything. Your response was a logical fallacy that didn't address the facts I provided.

Good for Europe as a "whole". Last I checked, those racist colonizing places still fancy themselves as individual countries. Someone living in Italy is Italian. Someone in France thinks they are French.
Flags, borders, all of it.
ONE country hasn't come close to the USA.
So it's time - ditch the health care, the pensions. Issue bonds. Let's see true help where they take America's place.
France, UK, Spain, Italy - who will take America's place?

I've been wondering about that. If you have different countries producing different armaments, you have to have parts for them all. Parts supplies are a PITA. The Indians like their fighter jets though. But I'm not sure where the additional troops are going to come from.

Expect to see that thesis- again and again and again.
They lie and lie and keep lying until you finally give up in frustration from talking to a rock.
Then they declare victory.
Apparently, points in the MAGA Manosphere are awarded for courageously lying in the face of overwhelming evidence that you are full of shit.

Are you surprised? Evidently you are? The USA is much larger than any single European nation, more people, bigger economy. As a percentage of GDP, Europe (pick almost any country...Poland...France...Germany...) is contributing far more than the USA.
France, UK, Spain, Italy - who will take America's place?
No one really can. We're too big, and too strong. It's a tragedy that some people are even asking that question.

Parts aren't necessarily interchangeable. A Leopard II is almost certainly going to have different parts than a M1 Abrams. But they have universal calibers across NATO nations (155mm). As I recall, the Soviet was 162mm. Ukraine has burned through most of their Soviet-era equipment and shells, and are receiving NATO 155mm guns and shells. Ukraine is fielding Leopards and Abrahms and Challengers, not to mention field pieces. All 155mm.
Yeah...I'm a geek about that sort of thing. That's why I watch Perun. He goes into the gory details, far more than any standard (or even non-standard) news outlet. Pivotal points in history I like to know more about, and this is one of them.

I didn't say we're not larger - we are.
If that's the standard where is China and India's contribution?
We're too big? Too strong?
Wait - they have government health care. Not us. They've got "higher minimum wage" - not us. They don't have John Wayne gun culture. They have affordable college for all.
So how come they aren't 20 times the power we are even if they pool their resources?
anyhow.....
So let's say those sorry ass little nations need to combine to be something. Enter the EU. Why doesn't; the EU just double its contributions to make up our paltry little sum --and tell us they've got this?
Funny, America is lectured not to be arrogant. Not to be Ugly. Not to be bully. We can't say "you're with us, or you're with the terrorists". We can't say "Axis of Evil" yet now......Zelensky doesn't have to say thanks at that meeting. He doesn't have to just be quiet and sign the deal. He can lecture us on what we're gonna feel - but we can't lecture the Europeans on such.
I wonder if those who pretend to like "Democracy!" will take into account feelings of people who dont genuflect to Europe? Even if you don't agree- in a "democracy!" sometimes dont you have to compromise?
