Donald John is just too old and his senility is becoming more and more evident. Today, he whined in a Truth Social post that he didn’t “know who said it, or where it came from” that he was considering J.P. Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon for Treasury secretary.

Who said it? Where did it come from?

Trump.

Trump said it in an interview with Bloomberg just this month.

TRUMP: “But we had a great meeting. Jamie Dimon was there. I have a lot of respect for Jamie Dimon.”

QUESTION: “A future Trump Secretary?”

TRUMP: “He is somebody that I would consider, sure.”

Sorry, that Trump guy is just too old and feeble-minded to serve a four-year term.

dimon clashed with trump when don flopped in going for bitcoin grift...thus a partial explanation for sudden memory loss.
this is interesting, since jpm is also exploring how to make money off crypto.

i cannot understand why dimon supports trump, but he is at heart an opportunist, and i can see him moving neutral or towards dems if a harris lead looks large enough.
dimon has been saying ~40% chance of recession since 2022, showing how he hedges every play where there is a chance of being explicitly wrong. he may be a good pick for some position if you want to diversify the cabinet for dems, but i fully expect him to hedge any interest he has in leaving jpm.
