Just heard an excellent two sentence summary on the state of the Trump campaign.
The very existence of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz is driving Trump insane and it’s revealed his true character for the world to see. That’s why he’s losing his mind at Kamala’s poll numbers and crowd sizes, and why Republicans are desperately cycling through one nonsensical attack after another.

one nonsensical attack after another.
Nothing seems to be sticking right now, but they should find a formula soon and move on it. In any case, after the convention the honeymoon will be over.

It might continue. The Wall Street and NEOCON folks have a friend in Harris also so I'm not sure they'll pitch in this time----we'll know shortly after the convention if he has a real campaign or if he's just a teenager with social media accounts.
In the meantime if the Trump outcome is bad, it would hopefully means the Senate and Congress goes D - meaning Harris Presidency with no check of balance.
And THAT........would be so worth the price of admission.
It would still be painful to see her be President, but the ensuing punishment of her having full rule - is so tantalizing.
To those out there considering enlistment: Run Forrest Run! Don't do it. Really, it's dumb.

You aren't dealing with reality here.
"After Trump took office, some neoconservatives joined his administration, such as John Bolton, Mike Pompeo, Elliott Abrams and Nadia Schadlow."

This phase of the honeymoon, yes. But the Convention lasts until August 22. There is typically a week to 10 days of “afterglow” following a Convention, absent the kind of thing that turned Chicago 1968 upside down.
That takes you to the end of August, leaving just September and October for Republicans to find a key. Of course there is always the possibility of an October surprise, but there is also the probability that many votes will be cast long before Election Day, meaning the Election season is extremely short, the rabid partisans on both sides are fired up, and there may be only a couple weeks and days for the hurlers of goop and slime to work their magic before the election is significantly frozen, if not decided.

I meant to give an attribution to that statement.
It was Seth Meyers.

Where did I absolve Trump of that? Please - stop the Alternative Facts.
I've long said Trump is a Chump for sucking up to NeoCons. Mind you he moved an Embassy but at least didn't go full on war. But, yeah, he loves being used by them. There, is that direct enough?
Harris - while rhetorically not good on NeoCons - is hardly smart enough nor strong enough to thwart them so they are good.
And Woke Liberal Wall Street? They are on the team too.
Mind you - that's what Liberalism is - being Country Club Republicans and Multinational Corporations and now, warmongers.
John Lennon can eat all of us :) Cheney and Halliburton have won the Left over.
