Youngkin is keeping the communists Chinese Ford plant out of VA.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin's decision to halt plans for a $3.5 billion Ford Motor Co. battery plant over his concerns about Chinese influence cost one of the poorest areas of Virginia a reported 2,500 jobs with potential for more.

If Ford finalized the project, the plant would have gone in the Southern Virginia Mega Site at Berry Hill in Pittsylvania County. More than $200 million has been spent over 15 years to make Berry Hill a premier site and the largest publicly owned site in the Southeast. The plant would have built lithium iron phosphate batteries for Ford's electric vehicles.

This will certainly displease the corporatists, and earnings-at-all-costs crowd, not to mention the myriad of those who on one hand take umbrage with possibly spying by one country - - but want to use kid gloves with China.

Youngkin is rather fake here.

When he runs for President, he knows he'll be attacked for many of the business ties he and or his firms had with CHINA for quite a bit of dollars and times.

So now, some of his citizens - his blue collar citizens in a blue collar part of Virginia have to miss out on jobs and economic development, so that the Governor can try to refute China ties in a few years.

Many of those who will miss out - probably voted for Youngkin.
