onepoorboy: Given his age, he likely won't last long. The surgery would be risky at his age.

According to the NYT, Biden’s cancer is hormone-sensitive “characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.” Surgery would be contraindicated. More than likely, he will have triplet therapy: Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), Chemotherapy (docetaxel), and an Androgen receptor pathway inhibitor (ARPI) plus zoledronic acid to promote bone health.

Even at his age, he could easily live several more years with this treatment plan.
