The one I'm using finally signaled today. That doesn't mean an immediate bounce, but usually within a few trading days. And, of course, sometimes it fails.

This time the bounce came and my short term bottom indicator worked, but mainly because Mr. Unpredictable gave the market reason to celebrate.

Indeed.

Now to see what happens. Sometimes these short term bottoms in a longer decline give good (very short) trading opportunities.

However, the composite indicator I'm using failed very badly during the financial collapse. It signaled multiple times with no good bounces to trade.
