The guy who placed those pipe bombs called himself an “anarchist”.
That was enough to set off the radical right who immediately used that admission to paint him as a “leftist”, perhaps “antifa”, but certainly a foot soldier in the “Democrat army”.
But then the guy said he voted for Trump and believed that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.
An “anarchist” basically believes that no government has real legitimacy. That’s basically what the term “anarchist” means. And as such, an anarchist is little more than a libertarian on steroids.
But the real world confounds neat categories. Some anarchists, like antifa, make common cause with the left, and some, like our bomb maker, make common cause with the right.
Perhaps the thing that unites all anarchists is the desire to “burn it all down”- often figuratively, but sometimes literally. As such, there’s probably a bit of the anarchist in all of us.
My only point- beware of assigning anarchists to any set of political beliefs. They really don’t fit on the normal left-right spectrum

Rev. Phoney Baloney,
Why do you keep defending the pipe bomber?
Because you're the part of the horse that produces the ROAD APPLES.
You can't help yourself, can you?
