hclasvegas: WHO " pretends that slavery never existed?"

Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, the first state to secede from the Union, a founding member of the states of the Confederacy, a state which explained that the reason for its secession was slavery.

By refusing to say "slavery," Haley pretended that slavery was not the cause of the Civil War and effectively acted as though it never existed. And in the worst unforced error since Dukakis and the tank, killed her political career and political aspirations. Her campaign is dead.
