TMF gets a lot of criticism for their moderation being arbitrary. I don't think that's the case at all. They've always been pretty consistent.

Try posting on Bogleheads to see some arbitrary moderation.

It's quite upsetting when you aren't allowed to correct all those folks that are wrong on the internet... ;-)
