On TMF, the AF board was mostly about politics.

The thing is, atheism is fact based.

Political discussion among atheists therefore tends to have a fact based, and since facts skew liberal, liberal bias.

That liberal atheist bias is like catnip to right-wing trolls who cannot discern fact from, say, Fox tabloid stories.

The right-wing trolls cannot resist regurgitating Fox/OANN talking points, presenting them as if they are original thoughts, into .
