CarPlay adds some more complexity, with two of us using the RAV4, sometimes it will go to DW's iPhone, sometimes mine...I guess it can't sort out who is the driver...
But in my F150, I replaced the radio head unit with an Alpine screen, various abilities, but to get CarPlay, I have to use a dongle, that links to my iPhone, so I can use its Sirius App, rather than add a second subscription to my account... generally works OK, but someone's gets confused, can't link up so I'm stuck without Sirious until I can stop and fiddle with it.. Maybe I need to update the dongle... Drive it rarely, but...
