More studies keep pointing to increased instance of heart disease from the ubiquitous and long-globally-used sugar substitute erythritol. Long called and filed as "safe" by global food admin agencies such as the FDA and not linked to cancer. And only 8 times more expensive than table sugar!
The pile of chemicals and "organic" substitutes in our food supply is stunning - and yes, some of it is beneficial (Louis Pasteur, thank you). But no one should be surprised at rising instances of cancer and heart disease. PFAS + benzoate + FDC yellow/red + glyphosate + residual pesticide + fungicide + preservatives + growth hormone = ???
Damn, I loved my caffeine-free zero-sugar ginger ale for a few weeks.
