“HOAs are a PITA. They go around counting shrubs vs trees, making sure you have the right mix. They monitor your weeds, dead bodies in your yard, etc. You'll get a nasty letter.”

Yeah, but on the other hand we’re not allowed to put up political signs. All the trumpers here have to put their flags in the back of their garages. It makes a stroll around the neighborhood nicer. Unless there’s too many dead bodies to step over, of course. That’s a nuisance.
