Frank Olson, the longtime CEO of Hertz has passed away. He was mentioned very favorably by Warren in Berkshire's Annual Report many years ago so I'm guessing they were probably pretty decent friends. Mr. Olson was the one who signed O.J. Simpson to be a spokesman for Hertz. He was real champion of Simpson for many years but severed all ties when you know what happened. Ironically Olson and O.J. died on the same day.
