The New York Times published a detailed article today on the break-up between Trumpedo and rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. She has angered Trumpedo by believing the Jeffrey Epstein victims and refusing to say it's all a hoax.
For Greene, the decades that Epstein spent eluding justice for exploiting and sexually assaulting countless girls and young women while amassing a fortune, and the seeming efforts by the government to cover up the injustice, “represents everything wrong with Washington,” she told me. This September, Greene spoke with several of Epstein’s victims for the first time in a closed-door House Oversight Committee meeting. She knew that the women had paid their own way to come to Washington. She saw some of them trembling and crying as they spoke. Their accounts struck her as entirely believable. Greene herself had never been sexually abused, but she knew women who had. In her own small way, Greene later told me, she could understand what it was like for a woman to stand up to a powerful man.
After the hearing, Greene held a news conference at which she threatened to identify some of the men who had abused the women. (Greene says that she didn’t know those names herself but that she could have gotten them from the victims.) Trump called Greene to voice his displeasure. Greene was in her Capitol Hill office, and according to a staff member, everyone in the suite of rooms could hear him yelling at her as she listened to him on speakerphone. Greene says she expressed her perplexity over his intransigence. According to Greene, Trump replied, “My friends will get hurt.”Friends? What friends?
And who cares if pedophiles “get hurt” when they're outed as pedophiles?
Greene has gone from being one of the most ardent defenders of Trumpedo to wondering if she or one of her kids will be murdered after Trumpedo has labeled her a traitor.
Ah, well, if you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.
Or worse.

An honest MAGA? Have I wandered into the Twilight Zone?
No, Dorothy, this isn't the Twilight Zone, and you aren't in Kansas anymore either.
MJT isn't just naive. She's also a coward, a severely myopic, judgemental Stepford cafeteria Christian, and a bad liar (by omission).
I found the comments to that story to be more informative than the article itself.
They make the point that though MTG is afraid of Trump and his cultists, she is still toxic and not apologetic for the damage she has done.
MTG is a cowardly narcissist who lacks the killer instinct to survive in the 'bigs'; a judgemental, toxic culture warrior.
The article is MTG's pity party.

be highly skeptical of these converted MAGAts that smell midterm disruption.
better yet, evaluate them on the entire lifetime of their public statements. making them happenstance useful tools may harm one's own credibility.
based on recent pbs interview, MTG has no regret calling for Dem blood during trump's 3 runs.
no amount of steroids nor brain supplements will make her more intelligent, even if rfk jr was her lifestyle coach.

"The article is MTG's pity party."
I feel the same.
I remember her and Blowbert at 1 of Biden's SOTU speeches, acting like a deranged jr
high school cheerleader taunting the opposing team.
I remember watching a utube vid of her stalking and trying to provoke a teenager who has survived a school shooting in Florida, and was in DC to speak about gun control. MTG acted like a nasty lunatic trying to goad the kid into getting into an argument with her. There are dozens of other incidents.
I am not buying her sudden change of heart. People can change, so I hope it's true that she is renouncing her lunatic fringe ways. But she needs to prove it with actions for a couple of years before I buy it.

I am not buying her sudden change of heart.
What change of heart?
Becoming frightened of the leopard threatening to eat one's face isn't a change of heart. It's merely recognizing a potential peril; a loss to ones physical well-being or financial status.
She's still the same toxic moron she ever was.
I feel a song coming on....
What MTG is NOT doing; asking herself and answering honestly:
And you may ask yourself, "Am I right? Am I wrong?"
And you may say to yourself, "My God! What have I done?"
Same as it ever was....
She ain't atoning. She's bailing out with, so they say, insider trading millions she didn't when she got to DC.
