As long as they don't illegally occupy a federal office building, or vandalize, or threaten people directly, or plow into them with cars, I'm pretty sure they're on the safe side of the line. I may consider it odious, but it isn't -to my knowledge- illegal. It is, in fact, protected speech.

You can storm federal buildings all you want if your cause is the "right" one. Just ask a lot of folks in Portland. It's also not illegal to take over several city blocks and keep authorities out.
