First up, what happened to Biden in Vegas? The COVID thing always seemed bogus:
At that point, according to Emily Goodin, a Daily Mail reporter who was in the traveling press pool, the president was "deathly pale" and Air Force One flew at maximum speed to Delaware, where the president has a weekend retreat at Rehoboth Beach. The press pool was told that Biden had COVID. Nothing more was said on Air Force One. After Biden's return to Delaware, the White House told the public that Biden had contracted a COVID infection and would be in isolation. He was said to have upper respiratory symptoms, a runny nose, a cough, and was fatigued.

That was the last straw for a core group of Congressional leaders, government officials and some senior Biden funders who were withholding huge amounts of committed contributions. "There was pressure on donors to come across on their pending commitments," the official told me. "It was understood that Biden had a physical problem in Las Vegas and the family was saying no" to continued pressure from donors and senior Democrats in Congress to withdraw from the presidential campaign. Initially, the president could not be reached.

It's what you would expect. Obama was the best one to deliver the bad news. Hersh probably has a gist of what was said, but not exactly or how it was delivered. Obama and Biden are friends. Neither Pelosi, Shumer or Jeffries could deliver that message. That's a tough message - and it wasn't holding a knife - Biden was in a bad way and needed that last final touch to let go. Good that he got it from a friend. You delight in Palace intrigue, don't you?

More of your same old forumulaic schtick. Trump and MAGA = good. Biden and Harris and Democrats = bad.

Its the way Trump fools so many people into thinking he's successful, and his minions glom onto it in a futile attempt to claim some of that fake success for themselves, so they can feel successful.

The only thing you're successful at is flinging poop like an ape standing behind a cardboard cutout of a person.

I could talk about facts and reason and how much PJ Media lies and Hersh has gone off the deep end in his dotage, but that's not useful when dealing with a poop-flinging ape. All I can do is identify it and be prepared for the inevitable flurry of name calling and self promotion that will follow. Because that's all that you've got.

Pro tip: I did make a brief comment on the substance of your reply. It was something along the lines of the New York Post lies a lot and Hersh is a senile old fool. Once that is determined, there's no point in discussing any further details, because nothing in the article can be trusted to be fact. But again, I'm smart and can see that, and you are dumb and can't tell when you are being lied to.

Jan 6,2021 was an attempted and failed coup.
State elections, certified by Republicans and Democrats, showed Biden to be the winner.
Trump supporters tried to overturn that result by ... not sure what the plan was, but Proud Boys were walking around with zip ties so I assume by taking congresspeople and senators hostage. To thwart voters' will by force. That is a classic coup.
I only wish it had either succeeded (at first and then put down by force by LEOs), or failed in a bloody massacre. So there would be absolutely no doubt how nutty and fascist Trump is. Too bad that didn't happen.

You can’t stand it that some people are calling Biden’s resignation heroic, so you’ll swallow any lie that makes it look less heroic. Then you have to repeat that lie to justify to yourself that you are a hero and Biden, whom you oppose, is not.

The real truth is that Trump is just one big loser. He proclaims himself to be the hero and winner, but he has deluded himself the same way you have deluded yourself - by doing nothing more than claiming to be a winner, even when the facts say otherwise. That is why you need “alternative facts” to keep your delusion alive.

When you are ready to admit your self delusion, there are plenty of people who can help you. But until then, all anyone can do is point out your delusion in the starkest way possible.
