Not surprised to see our Chairman at the top but surprised to see Larry Page & Sergey Brin at the bottom.

Most people don't know who they are.

As a result, it likely make more sense to sort by net positive, as they often do for politicians. (positive view percent minus negative view percent, ignoring "don't know" and "didn't answer")

Mr Buffett at +26
Mr Gates at +6
the rest negative.
Musk, Bezos, and Zuck at the bottom at -16 to -38.

Mr Ellison comes in at 5th place, middle of the pack, but I suspect it would be a lot lower if you asked only those people who have met with or dealt with him : )
Kind of an anti-Buffett in his business dealings.

Jim

Depending on your career you may have already seen this talk by Bryan Cantrell, formerly of Sun Microsystems and then of Oracle. I may have even posted it here or one of the former boards at some point

He infamously gave the advice, "Do not fall into the trap of anthropomorphizing Larry Ellison" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zRN7XLCRhc&t=2100... which might be the funniest few minutes of content ever produce about Ellison and Oracle. I am exercising a lot of self-restraint to not block quote large portions of the talk here, but encourage watching from 35:00-39:50 (maybe with headphones and away from tender ears). The rest is great if you are a fan of Solar, OpenSolaris, or Illuminos and the history and politics of the projects, but I realize that is a more limited audience.

With greater familiarity with the public, I think it would be a neck and neck race to the bottom with Ellison and one other strong contender.
