It's a great experience but the ROI is debatable - if you're at the point where the cost is not a concern (or time is worth more) then it's a nice "luxury."

The process to get on the plane is more efficient - usually better terminal area, bathrooms, snacks, etc. There can be some issues with weather that might make you end up in another location but they are super helpful in arranging vehicles or alternative travel and I appreciate the safety focus.
