Working on the old Fool on either iPad, I could write a post and when I went to submit, the whole screen would collapse, the post lost forever, occasionally requiring a reboot, or at least a restart of the browser (Safari). Very annoying obviously, I got in the habit of having to copy the entire post, and occasionally, if very long, sending it as an email to myself to it wouldn't be lost in the roulette game of 'will it go through or will it blow up' I had to play.
That has not happened once since moving to Schrewd, so thank you. Clean code, I suppose.
In other news, every time I sign on to the Berkshire board, my list starts with the same post, back a couple weeks ago. That does not seem to happen with MeTAR, although that is a slow moving board so maybe there just aren't enough posts. Anyway it appears that my 'last viewed' post isn't updating, somehow. Is that on my end?

Thanks for the kind words.

The boards (Berkshire and MeTAR for example) are certainly treated in the same way regarding navigation so, as you write, I expect the new posts are being generated causing your navigation position to move out of date.
When viewing a list of posts at Shrewd'm, it works very predictably by requiring you to click 'next' or 'prev' to change where you are in the list. If new posts are made whilst you are away, your position in the list will be unchanged when you log back. This allows you to read through all posts.
The navigation system will never move you around unless you actually click 'next' or 'prev' or the 7-day green button.

This works fine, but I did prefer how the old Fool boards would navigate from the Favorites page such that the list of messages on a board started with the last one you read and then unread ones below that. That approach was slightly more convenient for a heavy user in that you were immediately presented with the unread messages at the top of the page, and there was no need to page down to find them, or to click 'next' to navigate to the next page.
I can certainly manage fine with the current set-up. It just takes a quick click or two to find the unread messages once you know how it works.
