Federal Layoffs ‘Have Begun,’ White House Says
Federal health and homeland security workers have received layoff notices, agency officials said Friday, as the White House began another round of cuts to fulfill President Trump’s threats to cull agencies and jobs while the government is shut down. Russell T. Vought, the White House budget director, did not specify how many workers, or agencies, would be affected.

That has been his plan all along, to cut, or gut, entire agencies, that benefit the Proles, so the money can be handed to the "JCs" instead.
Have all the copies of "Shock Doctrine" been confiscated yet? I went to a lecture, at the Dearborn public library, a year ago, about how library collections were being censored. I would suspect that the censorship program has been accelerated since then.

It's really more the goal of Project 2025 to gut the government. More privatization; more religious (Christo-fascist variety) influence in government.
As if you can have a functioning modern democracy without a professional, merit-based bureaucracy. That's a libertarian pipe dream.
But maybe you can have a functioning (sort of) fascism with nothing but unqualified loyalists. Trump's giving it a try.
