Many of you probably know intercst because he was on TMF for many years.

Recently, intercst was diagnosed with blockages in his leg veins. He had surgery this week which was supposed to clear the blockage. Unfortunately, the surgery went badly and after 9 hours the leg was amputated above the knee. He's still in the hospital. There's a thread on METAR on TMF if you want to send him a healing message.

Thanks Wendy, I think many of us remember Intercst. I read the thread. I looked at the males in my family and realized many of them didn't get past 78, and the last two years were bedridden, so I pulled the plug at 62 and flew to Japan, then to the Philippines. I'm still getting around but not as well as I used to. My wife's an avid pickle ball player, but I just walk and bike.
