It was about the orange moron bloviating on topics he doesn’t understand. He delivered it for two reasons: to pump up his ego, and to feed lies to his gullible base.

Pretty much, but it was brief and he kept to the script. No mention of the 2020 election, deranged Democrats, or the big beautiful ballroom.
All in all it was a disciplined vomit of horseshit, lies and gaslighting, so credit where credit is due. It started at nine and was over before 9:20.
Both West Texas and Brent crude are up. Stocks are down, and folks are selling US Treauries, so though Trump told us the Strait of Hormuz would open “naturally” very soon and the war would be over in 2-3 weeks, the markets are saying “Donald, your nose is growing longer.”

So the unwinding of the last two day's rally in stocks, when "cut and run" chatter was going on, and oil is up 5%.
One scenario he did not talk about was escalate. Just more of the same. So, escalation could be on the table over the weekend.

American racism defeated us in Vietnam. We had a positive body count, destroyed their navy and air force, decimated their armies and dropped three times the tonnage of bombs than we dropped over Germany and Japan during WW2.
We’ve been doing the same in Iran. And now they have a toll booth at the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran don’t need no stinkin’ navy. Just as Ukraine was able to destroy the Russian Black Sea fleet without a navy.
