I don't care about globally, is it a threat to locales in the good ol' USA? TLDR that.

Apparently it’s a threat along the Florida & Gulf coast.

It's a threat in several places, but with high, and low confidence. We don't know which areas are going to go into desertification. With low confidence the Southwest arid area and High Desert area to the north may expand. My concern is that we built an irrigation system in those semi-desert areas west of the 100th meridian and the source of the water may change. We may have an engineering irrigation problem to fix - in the future.

But mostly we'll head north to be in the nicer temperature zones.

If the Gulf Stream stops, there will be a 3 foot rise on the Atlantic coast.

None of these are catastrophic, but our world will change and there will be hardships. Climate change is of medium importance to me. We should plug the methane leaks in the Midwest and West. But - we let China continue with coal and now we are going to conduct the great experiment.
