Some people are saying that they don't think a bullet hit him, that it was shards of glass from the equipment on the dais.

What difference does it make? Either way, he was injured in an assassination attempt, where two others were also injured and one died.

While I haven't heard this one before, it has hallmarks of a conspiracy theory. The main one being that someone is hiding information from the general public, while someone else has uncovered the "truth" - via this conspiracy theory. I would not waste any time with this.
