Acck. I hate the concept of having to provide an excuse to some third party who has a narrow interest in the problem and does not have to deal with the consequences. Another excuse, perhaps more persuasive, is that this policy is necessary for our own protection as well as the safety of the immigrants. We must match incoming flow rate to our capacity to process and assimilate them safely and humanely.
