Ok so in a rarity, I seeked out a current news story and I read the texts by the "young republicans". I'n not Sheeple - so i dont look the other way when there's trouble on my side.
So yes, it is concerning.
I wonder how much of it is real. and how much of it is just idiots raised in digital culture who found an easy outlet for their frustrations. Or how many of them learned that angery and bombast is the way to power. (You people taught them that....and are still teaching the young that). Frankly , I wonder how many of them could even locate Israel, Germany, China, India, on a map of the world.
As usual - the Leader - skips ahead a few moves. An d I'm genuinely curious what Israel interests (who do have TONS of power) do about this. One of the *good* things that has come from said influence is great work on civil rights in our country's history yet now, Israeli interests have a tightrope: It's the idiots on the Right shouting "Israel!" "we love Israel!" while the young Progressives are starting to let their anti israeli flag fly a bit higher these days.
Somehow, Israel needs to milk MAGA and the Right for the best middle east deal possible --- while the getting is good----which is NOW. And once that is done - -they need to literally flick a switch - and shit on the Right, or at least this part of the Right.
Will be interesting to watch in coming years.

Cenk Uygur on TYT has really been ranting about Israel's juice in the US lately. That bit I posted about the Israeli Finance Minister saying there is a business plan on Trump's desk for the redevelopment of Gaza, was highlighted on TYT recently. Cenk has been holding forth that there is more honest reporting about Israeli corruption in the Israeli media, than there is in US media. He accuses the US media of being cowed by threats of being tagged as "antisemitic" if they report anything critical of Israel.

Hi Steve....
Indeed the "anti semetic" argument is used by all sides ---to their convenience which is too bad because like anything - discrimination, sex harassment, etc ---it takes way from *worthy* accusations. The other problem is - Leftists will only see it when a fella like Cenk is accused of it. Righties will only take umbrage if a Righty media guy is accused of it.
I don;'t follow Israeli politics so i can't speak to corruption. I am speaking of - systematic, well funded, well organized manipulation and control -- and frankly hat tip to Israel for their influence in America.
Cenk speaks out - how's his career? Is on major network prime time?
Tucker Carlson speaks out - same question.
Go back to the glory Gulf War days of the early 90s. Seriously. After the Gulf War - James A Baker and Papa Bush spoke loudly, forcefully about settlements. And, well, interest rates stayed too high, too long in the face of economic slowdown. It's curious how the rates did get lowered.....but only when too late to feel the effeccts for Bush's reelection yet GDP was already growing robustly when Clinton took office.
Likewise, Dubya shined Israel's shoes perfectly. Interest rates seem to treat him ok.
Hence i'm interested to sere how Israel threads the needle going forward. They need the Right to cling to their Book of Revelations - where God needs their mortal asses to be $12 an hour security guards for God's "chosen" "Israel"! Never mind who looked the other way when Junior got his butt kicked and crucified and didn't even get a Whopper with Cheese for his last meal.
The Right, namely the religious Right has given Israel tons of political capital. But this new wave of HitlerSpeak -- i feel - isn't going away due to stupid people having access to other stupid people on social media.
YET on the Left, then young elite Progressives on campus, ie tomorrow's Ruling Class, well --- let's just say their "feelings" on certain people and entities....isn't that great either.
Hence i say threading the needle. If anyone knows how to do it economically, politically, organizationally it would be the Israeli apparatus in America for sure. Nobody else could balance such a tightrope in an otherwise "them vs us" absolutist culture.

I am speaking of - systematic, well funded, well organized manipulation and control -- and frankly hat tip to Israel for their influence in America. For years, maybe decades, I have been observing how most candidates for POTUS make their pilgrimage to AIPAC to pledge fealty to Israel. Apparently, AIPAC money is starting to become toxic.
Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) said Thursday he will not accept further donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and will return donations he has already received from the group.
“I support Israel’s right to exist, but I’ve also never been afraid to disagree openly with AIPAC when I believe they’re wrong,” Moulton said in a statement he posted to the social platform X. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/5559354-seth...Calling people "antisemitic", to shut them down, does require the person to say something critical of Israel. Now, I see the regime is going back to #43's tactic of proclaiming that all critics "hate America". Much more versatile than "antisemitic", or Hillary's favorite, variations on "they hate women".
Cenk insists the invasion of Iraq was at Israel's behest. I still think it was about controlling Iraq's oil. US intervention in Syria, however, I agree, it was all about helping unhorse the Assad family, that had been an irritant to Israel for decades.
