Makes sense. He's no match for Harris. She was a prosecutor, used to questioning witnesses. From what I've read, she played him like a violin, making him flustered.
Even in his prime, he's probably no match for her in a debate setting. He was never that bright, and always egotistical. Now he's got a touch of dementia to boot (IMO).
It would have been fun if they could have goaded him into another debate, like a lamb to the slaughter. Pity.
