Question: why does all the video evidence of the drones - or whatever type of craft they are - suck? I mean, it's all worse than the typical UFO/UAP video evidence. Are there no people near enough to get clear images? Granted, I suppose all the sightings being at night might be the cause. But at this point, you'd think there would be some people with high end video equipment trying to get clearer images!
This whole thing stinks of mass hysteria as well, though there DOES appear to be actual "somethings" flying around.

The number of confirmed drone sightings in the night sky in New Jersey have been increasing since first reported in November. A
confirmed sighting means a police officer or security guard personally witnessed a drone after receiving a report about a sighting.
Senator Andy Kim went out with local police to Hunterdon County, NJ on Thursday night to investigate. They used a flight tracker app to distinguish drones from planes. They saw 5 to 7 lights at a time that were moving in clusters. They "clearly saw several that would move horizontally and then immediately switch back in the opposite direction in maneuvers that planes can’t do."
The police officer said they see them out every night. They only seem to start when it gets dark and they disappear before dawn. They get reports that they sometimes fly low over homes, especially up in the hills. The officer said they’ve tried to get closer with use of a helicopter but that the drones would turn off the lights and go dark if approached."
Take a look at the videos that the police and Senator Kim captured at

Another very clear video was taken by News Nation reporter Rich McHugh. Take a look at what happened live as his cameraman started filming him at
https://x.com/wakeupnj/status/1867937883602235476The Ocean County, NJ sheriff's department reported seeing a swarm of about 40 drones coming off the ocean, and contacted the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard saw 13 drones from their boat. They estimated the wingspans to be about 8 feet. They dispatched a helicopter, but the drones outran them.
Current summary of what's known is at

So what? There is infrared. We have all seen the police videos tracking those bright white images of perps trying to run away into the night.

The Wake Up NJ video is MUCH better, but still not definitive - obviously.
Yes, there is clearly something going on in the sky, but, as you've said, it's still a mystery.

Somewhere they said they were not giving off heat, so couldn't be seen with IR.

Going out on a limb here, but I’m pretty sure those drones in NJ are about as numerous as…
-the number of suitcases stuffed with illegal ballots in 2020……
-the number of cat eating Haitians they found in Springfield….
-and the number of pages in Donald Trump’s healthcare plan to replace the ACA…
The country has been on a huge nine year long, Trump inspired snipe hunt.
Apparently, some folks never get tired of it.

So you are convinced the phenomena has been sufficiently explained? Unwavering trust after the Chicom balloon incident?

So you are convinced the phenomena has been sufficiently explained?
I’m guessing that the answer will turn out to be four or five teens with drones- having a grand time of it.
Lights going out when approached?
Maybe they wanted to be seen??
Why would a foreign operator want to be seen?
Answer: they wouldn’t, and would probably be using infrared.

So here's the situation. Homeowners all over Central NJ, in addition to local police, mayors, state reps, state senators, etc. are now seeing one or more drones flying overhead when they step outside at night. They are most definitely not planes. They usually have both red and green flashing lights, and sometimes these lights are seen in a triangular pattern. They fly back and forth, sometimes in darting motions, and at various angles.
They have been reported all over Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Monmouth and Ocean Counties over the past few nights. It's too large an operation to be the work of amateurs or teens.
I'm a stickler for facts and don't want to spread any conspiracy theories. But it sees to me that these are our (US government) drones and they are looking for something on the ground. Maybe they're not telling us what they're looking for, because they don't want to cause panic.

I try not to get wrapped up in the 'hot story' on the internet but - as someone who has believed in UFOs and extra terrestrial life I admit this drone thing has be interested.
So I went outside last night around - 11-1130pm ish.
Yep, right over my backyard I was 3 rather large drones smoothly flying across the sky.
I feel these are human made as in they just look basic. BUT - if it's true how they respond via turning off lights if approached - that is interesting.
If it is alien life, we need only one thing:

Nobody got upset all summer when drones were seen. It was like, 'Oh,a drone."
People fly drones at night. What's the problem? You want big gubmint interfering with drone flyers?
They're not hurting anybody.

https://nypost.com/2024/12/14/us-news/mysterious-d...The mysterious drones that have been plaguing the skies over the Northeast shut down the runways of Stewart International Airport Friday night, prompting Gov. Hochul to demand the feds step in.
“This has gone too far,” Hochul said in a terse statement Saturday, in which she noted the runway of the Orange County facility was shut down for an hour because of the unidentified aircraft.
Stewart Airport services both commercial and military flights and is adjacent to a New York Air National Guard base, where the 105th Airlift Wing is stationed.
