While some leaders are fixated on personalities - and wanting to drag countries into war, get even more countries to fund the Big Defense Machine.....and while continents that colonized and raped the world are uneasy about a Big Bear in the backyard, and 'exploding' populations diluting their so-called 'way of life'...it's worth applaud folks trying to make peace.
Not many Democrats I usually praise - but XI deserves a bit of applause. No, not for the genocide and espionage of today and 'purchase/theft' of defense secrets in the Look-at-the Dow! decade known as the 90's.
But first, XI brings together the Saudis and Iran. Instead of typical Western powers exploiting ancient differences to create war - XI has tried, and initially succeeded at bringing rivals together. While the Saudis got a Presidential Fist Bump and in return gave nothing, it's nice to see them making peace with Iran, ditto for others who still trade with Iran: Civilizations that were having commerce on earth well before the European Colonizers came to town.(Good one God, well played.... then you wonder why I'm skeptical sir, madam, he/she/they/them whatever the case maybe)
Now XI visits with Putin not to be openly hostile, not to lecture and talk down to and threaten - but to have dialogue on peace.
It's good that one of the world's powers is at least trying to do something good. While another is led by warmonger Establishment type, hell bent on a 3rd World War.
Some take umbrage that Putin's enemies disappear - but they say not to peep about XI's magic tricks in the same way. Some made it a meme to cancel "Putin!" and take cheeseburgers away from middle class Russians due to the invasion -- but they don't even get close to that with XI while he genocides the Uyghurs.
The people shouting "Democracy!" don't seem to mind XI's repeated "wins" in China with a potential eternal regime....after all, remember, these are the same people who wanted "Free Trade!' with China cause it'll help democracy there.
Once again, all parties are getting what they earned here.
Paging the Middle East: Why do you keep allowing an entity that is under control of the Israelis and Defense Machine to keep you at war with each other? Here's to Saudi and Iran cozying up with China, and making the US leadership be the girl who wasn't invited to that slumber party.
