Whilst Said is posting, I already thanked him in emails, but I just want to also thank Said on the board also for sending me error reports, which were all programmed very quickly. Just out of interest, they included:
1. Sending screenshots from lots of different devices so I could make sure Shrewdom looks great everywhere and for everyone. It now functions with quite more narrow width than its TMF ancestry, which is nice given how often people use mobile phones to read these days.
2. A few technical things like navigation whilst users are not logged in, quickly programmed.
Thank-you Jim (mungofitch) also for giving very good ideas, including as having the 'Reply To' option against every post when reading a sequence of posts together unthreaded (the first version release only allowed two 'Reply To' links above/below the entire thread - worked in haste as I wanted to get this to you asap to not lose your cultural momentum), and some other ideas which I also programmed/corrected quickly.
Thank-you many others also, naming would create a big list, for either offering warm support and/or sending reports.
Observe that 56 posts in one day on the Berkshire Board alone, all requiring signing in (and there many other lurkers) is an astonishing start for the board.
Many have written 'I'm in!'. With that, let us really form an inspiring/curious/respectful/philosophical/practically-helpful/Wall-Street-mocking/data-driven/pocket-enlargening Shrewdish culture that goes beyond anything we have seen.
