1.)Hockey--- especially when OP made it totally non political.
2.)Taking a shit -- c'mon sit back, relax. Playboy, Encyclopedia Brown, maybe Midgets with Injuries monthly -- don't have to involve Trump.
3.) Maybe 10 minutes per day -- drink some water. Have a soda. And remind yourself that the 10 minutes are yours, not to be shared with Trump.

Loved the Bon Jovi Concert I was at waaaaaaay back when, front row. Yes he wore a "Gore Lieberman shirt" at the end ---I mentally rolled eyes and I even chuckled --but loved the show.
AOC? Don't like the philosophy and attitude - but with the hair down - man what a looker. And - I have - loudly saluted her political prowess and what I see is a growing portfolio and influence, regardless of a 'gaffe'
Back in the ol days I was at a few Kennedy Center events -- said a casual "Hello Justice" to RBG. Even now I repeatedly watch Kennedy videos - be it Led Zeppelin Tribute. Cher Tribute---I see Pelosi for Obama up in the seats and I *love* seeing them enjoy music. Do I like the rainbow lanyards the VIPs all wear? No ----but like you said, I can turn it off.

Yep. My college commencement ceremony featured a really good speech…by then First Lady Hillary Clinton. Great speech; she kept the politics out and it was really positive.
I feel bad for folks who just can’t take ten minutes to relax or even as you said take a dump without clenching up over politics. Look how unhappy this board is - the misery comes out in every post. THEY WERE unhappy on TMF in the tail-end years of Clinton.
They then had the hate for "Bush!" "Gonzales". "Ashcroft!" - -everytime someone innocently resigned "oh Bush lost someone!"
Then Obama won.
They were still unhappy in those years.
The only thing that makes White Liberals Happy is their 401K statements, and inner city black voters begging them for morsels of this and that.
