...and that is the way Trump likes it and has arranged it. Nothing but sycophants.
From 6 years ago:
William McRaven, the retired admiral who led the raid against Osama Bin Laden, laments that good men and women don’t last long in the Trump administration, especially if they speak the truth to the president.
“As Americans, we should be frightened — deeply afraid for the future of the nation. When good men and women can’t speak the truth, when facts are inconvenient, when integrity and character no longer matter, when presidential ego and self-preservation are more important than national security — then there is nothing left to stop the triumph of evil.”
And it is SO much worse now.

Yup. Typical "JC", the sort that has run so many once prominent US companies into the ground.
That is why I am so confident that every country he orders "investigated" over the next 150 days will be found guilty as charged, and the tariff he wants will be recommended. by those doing the investigating. Because every staffer knows they must tell Trump the God what he wants to hear, or suffer the consequences.

So, 6 years ago, McRaven thought that "good men and women can't speak the truth" under Trump?
Seriously?
Did he name any of the "good men and women" under Trump who he thought were lying?
Isn't it logically inconsistent to equate "good men and women" with "liars" or "people who can't (or don't)" "speak the truth?
You really, REALLY need to start learning how to think logically about the propaganda you post.
Taken at face value, what McRaven said doesn't make any sense.
At all.
Which is why he said it. He was spouting propaganda, meant for illogical people, meant to evoke an irrational, political reaction.

Remember AG Bill Barr? He dared to push back at Trump's insistence the 2020 election was "rigged and stolen". Barr said there was nothing to Trump's claims. Barr was pushed into resigning.
If you want to keep your job, with a "JC" like Trump the God, you feed his delusions, no matter how absurd, or suffer consequences.
