https://www.foxnews.com/us/cook-shortage-army-post...An Army installation in Texas has been struggling to put food on the table for its soldiers for months as the base faces a shortage of cooks to staff its dining facilities.
Fort Cavazos, previously known as Fort Hood, has struggled to provide its junior enlisted troops with meals for months, with the base only opening two of its 10 major dining facilities for much of the summer and with limited times, according to a report Tuesday from Military.com.Such a bang up job Milley and Austin are doing. I'm filled with confidence.
"For months, one [dining facility] was open and was a more than 30-minute drive for my soldiers," a noncommissioned officer who anonymously spoke to Military.com said. "All the soldiers were going to that one. It's unmanageable during the workday."So let's see...the Navy can barely get its ships out of the harbor and the Army can't feed its soldier. What do the Marines and the Air Force have for us?

So, according to Military.com, soldiers are being temporarily inconvenienced because Army cooks are on "a rotation to the National Training Center, or NTC," and providing support "for a cadet training exercise at Fort Knox, Kentucky."
Not ideal but not nearly as harmful to the military as republican senator Tuberville blocking every military promotion.
Thanks to this republican senator -- backed by every other republican in Congress -- the Army no longer has a Senate-confirmed leader and blocking promotions is causing a wide range of problems, including damaging morale.
You might find that more worrisome than soldiers who have to drive 30-minutes occasionally but we all know republicans like Tuberville -- who voted against the PACT Act along with senators Lankford, Lee, Lummis, Paul, Toomey, Tillis, Shelby, Romney, Crapo, and Risch, and 88 republicans in the House -- don't give a squat about the military.

Simple solution - stop paying to fly people around to access abortions. Grant them leave as necessary but have get there on their own dime. I know, that will depress recruitment. If I can't free transportation to get an abortion whenever I want one, then I lose my desire to serve my country, right?

His non-sequitur - and it is a non-sequitur - ignores the fact that the Post commander is the responsible party here. The fact that they're that hard up on cooks means that somebody at the local level isn't doing their job.
