As luck would have it, the water valve for the condo complex sprinkler system is in my basement. So, I need to let the sprinkler company guys in every spring and fall. Usually the company sends about three guys to cut off the water, take a piece of modern art piping out of the system, and stash it in my basement, and blow out the system. Today, they sent one guy.

Not a chance, unless they send a robot that can do the manual labor. I'm not touching the sprinkler system, because I don't own it.
To top the guy's day, the modern art piping is 2". He didn't have a wrench on his truck big enough to take the thing off. So, he said he has a couple more stops, then back to the shop to get the wrench, then back to my place to remove the piping and schlep it into my basement. If they don't remove the modern art piping, which cost several thousand dollars to build, thieves will steal it over the winter, when they know it isn't full of pressurized water.
