I put a post on the MI board about something in SPY vs SPX options that at first surprised me, if anyone here is interested.
For SPY options the 'ask' for puts is always greater than the intrinsic value (IV), because otherwise there'd be an arbitrage opportunity.
Fox SPX options, the ask can be greater, or can be less, than IV. Details at:
