this video is highly insightful, far beyond the dozens of MAGA excuse economists out there.

nonspoiler alert : trump has no grasp of anything, contradicts everything, and is mostly ignored other than as cheerleader.

spoiler alert, where things break down in the grand plan :

trump advisors admit it is not just about money; security and other relationships are implicitly involved and used in trade negotiations.
thus at the heart of any 'mar-a-lago' accord to reshape the world, trust is needed. and trust is completely missing simply based on deals\promises made during trump's first term, not to mention his attitude and actions dealing with historical allies.

for those interested, there is a followup video from joeri where he admits to making 2 big mistakes in attempting to interpret the gop\trump trade strategy.

unfortunately, he makes 2 even bigger mistakes based on his new assumptions :
a. a cohesive\useful strategy can not emerge by trump cycling through piecemeal suggestions from whoever is in favor
b. there is no sign team trump can actually execute a viable strategy
