One reason is you need to declare a party affiliation to work at a polling place. A few years ago, I was at the township hall to pay my property tax, so mosied over to the clerk's office to ask when my name, address, and party declaration, will drop out of their computer system, because I saw this sort of thing coming.

This is about Fulton County (Atlanta) GA. Wayne County, where I live, is also being "investigated".

The Justice Department wants to interview 2020 election workers

The Justice Department wants to interview some poll workers and ballot counters who participated in the 2020 election in Fulton County, Georgia, in a new effort to dig up details about the ballot-processing, prosecutors revealed at a court hearing last week.

A prosecutor working with a grand jury in Fulton County told a federal judge on May 19 that once the Justice Department has names and addresses of 2020 election workers in the investigation, federal investigators would try to talk to the workers.

So an "independent" can't be a poll worker? That's not fair!

Smart move -- I'm glad you're playing it Steve.

Even if - in different ways --- like if I give money (small money) to Pro-American, Anti AIPAC candidates -- I do it in a way where it's NOT ny name, remotely close.

You are articulate Steve and I think you're one of the few Liberals - who still "gets" people.

I'm sure your efforts and voice will be used in other ways.

There was an ep of "Rumpole Of The Bailey" that was particularly hilarious: the police had busted a chain of "massage parlors" that were fronts for prostitution. The Inspectors working the case were laffing among themselves "can you believe these guys were paying for prostitutes with their credit cards?"

Unfortunately, YT only has the trailer for that ep posted.

I may watch TYT or Pakman on YT, but I don't "subscribe" to their channels, let alone actually pay for a "membership", because I expect that, sooner or later, everyone who does will end up on a list.
