Title 42 is not Trump policy. Title 42 is part of the Public Health Act. It dates back to 1944. It grants emergency powers to prevent the spread of diseases.

When the pandemic struck the CDC activated Title 42. When the pandemic subsided, the CDC had no valid reason UNDER TITLE 42 to continue enforcing the provision.

It's ironic that the same folks who laud an act that prevents the spread of disease, they were opposing the best measures science had to reduce the impact and spread of the disease (masking, vaccinating, maintaining safe distance).

Too bad Trump convinced his QOP minions to reject immigration legislation that would improve the migration situation.

The migration problems continue unabated due to Orange Jesus..
