The Biden administration on Tuesday indicated to congressional lawmakers that it would be willing to support a new border authority to expel migrants without asylum screenings, as well as a dramatic expansion of immigration detention and deportations, to convince Republicans to back aid to Ukraine, four people familiar with the matter told CBS News.

Good for them. This is called "Positive movement" and it's never how democrats roll. Because again, you people always think you're entitled to 100% of what you want and the other side can pound sand.

Ask Reagan how that went.

This is back in December, but it sure indicates a willingness to compromise in areas of security, tightening things up, and closing loopholes. Maybe you need to rethink you positions? Maybe you should not join in scuttling this until you've thought it through?

Oh, did I take a position on this? Or are you merely ass-u-ming something?

When the legislation comes out, and we see what's in it, then I'll take a position. But there is no way that your party can be trusted to do the right thing, ever.
