I wondered if Trump could just not pay it and get away with it, but the realized part of the job of the Independent Monitor and Independent Director of Compliance would be to see that it's paid. Now I wonder if they can sell assets to pay. I'd sell Mar-a-Lago for $18 million and say - see? 😄 😎 Just joshin.

If it sticks, three years should mean the death of his business. He still has Mar-a-Lago, but I think Trump Tower is his crown jewel. That one is in NYC. And most of the hotels that paid for his name worldwide have torn his name off their buildings. So they aren't paying him anymore (I assume).
Of course, as written, I would think one of his kids could run the businesses, and they would be in compliance with the order. In which case, the Trump organization keeps on going. As long as Don Sr doesn't get involved.

Nope. Junior and Eric cannot serve as officers or directors of any corporation or legal entity in NY for two years. That leaves Ivanka, who was also initially a defendant until an appeals court dismissed the case against her. And Tiffany, I suppose.
