Hatred and ignorance are the MAGA brand....
"Nazi heaven: Inside Miami campus Republicans’ racist group chat"
"The secretary of Miami-Dade County’s Republican Party started a group chat primarily for conservative students last fall — and within three weeks it was filled with racist slurs,
including dozens of ways of violently killing Black people and the chat was renamed after what one member described as "Nazi heaven."
"Participants used variations of the n-word, regularly described women as "whores," used slurs to talk about Jewish and gay people and mused about Hitler’s politics."

Iranians aren't "brown people." They're caucasians.
However, the mullahs ruling Iran worship a false prohphet who was a lunatic killer and a pedophile. That's who they emulate.
Lunatic killer and pedophile-emulators deserve what they get, brown, white or polka dot.

Only in the US, at present. In the racist US immigration policy of a century ago, Arabs were a distinct, and unwanted, race.
from the net sifter:
In the 1920s, US immigration policy ambiguously defined Arabs—primarily immigrants from "Greater Syria" (modern Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan)—as "Asiatics" or "Turkey in Asia," often classifying them as non-white. While initially considered white, legal challenges arose in 1910–1923, as they were sometimes classified as "yellow" and denied naturalization.
Regional Origin: Most immigrants were Arabic-speaking Christians from Ottoman-ruled Syria and Lebanon.
Legal Classification: By the early 1910s, federal authorities and courts increasingly classified Arabs as "Asiatics" or "other" to restrict citizenship under statutes limiting it to "free white persons".
Restriction: The 1924 Immigration Act (Johnson-Reed Act) significantly restricted immigration from the region..
Yes, technically, Persians are not "Arabs" either. But, since Trump the Most Perfect is turning the clock back a century, embracing the racist memes of the time that only northern Europeans are "white" would be the correct read.

Always refreshing to see the MAGA brain trust still struggling with basic reading comprehension.
For the record, I never said I oppose high gas prices, just that Trump vowed to lower them and then did the opposite. Lie number 65,879 on the ever-growing leaderboard.

The last time fuel prices spiked, demand for hybrids and EVs did, too. It would be somewhat amusing if the pro-pollution POTUS inadvertently ended up driving sales of hybrids and EVs.
A quick check says prices are ~3.40. When it breaks $4, that seems to be the pain point. Or at least it was last time around. At that time, we went out looking for a Prius. We couldn't even test drive one because they were sold out. With inflation, maybe it will be $5 this time.

Ok, so you want higher gas prices --- but whine about tariffs.
Typical 401K'er :)
But the good news is, long erm gas will be cheaper.
It has been cheaper.
And EV adoption was raped just like Juanita Broderick.
As far as your personal attacks: I'm hereby raising the sea level a bit. Google it :) Surf's up! Your ""Bill Of Rights" - shove it in the poop chute :)

Will this spike be prolonged? Or a few months?
Furthermore, did anything 'change' about the EV market in the last 6-8 months?
:)

I can't really know. If I was going to bet on it, I'd say years. Unless we completely crush Iran so they can't even launch drones, they'll launch drones (and other attacks through their proxies). Hormuz will be a very dangerous area, and I wouldn't be surprised if they disrupted hydrocarbons everywhere they can.
At this point the world better hope for regime change, as that is -probably- they only way to stop them for quite a while. I heard their council of elders (whatever they call it) was hit, and they were supposed to be responsible for naming a successor. Not sure what the status of that is. Actually, I can't now verify the story, so maybe it didn't happen? That's what we would have to do since they appear to have some depth to their regime.
Or we could quit, go home, and say "our bad...we elected a moron". That's at least 3 years away.
