Indeed. The fracture is along the line of antisemitism, and slavish devotion to the current ruling regime in Israel. Tucker Carleson is being flamed for criticizing the recent actions of the current Israeli regime, and talking to people like Nick Fuentes. But Lord Trump can talk to flaming anti-Semites like Fuentes and Kanye West, but it's all good, because he is devoted to the current Israeli regime.
A large part of MAGA is anti-Semitic. I remember, during the first go around, Lord Trump trying to tell his followers to back off of the anti-Semitic garbage, while still pandering to their wishes for ethnic cleansing and Christian theocracy in the US.

in the end, it doesnt seem to matter whether its racism, criminality, fascism, etc...as long as it pulls in enough gop votes at any level of education or wealth.
i.e., what the gop calls 'big tent'.
i suspect trump has no real faith in any actual religion, but certainly resents his daughter had to marry out of her religion just to move up the wealth ladder.
