The news tonight reported Israel has expanded it's evacuation order in Lebanon, up to southern Beirut. I would not be surprised if "Bibi" demanded the US escalate in Iran, so Israel can divert more of it's forces into it's Lebanon annexation project.

On the wire this morning:

Israel threatens to take Lebanese land after pounding Beirut

But Israel Defence Minister Israel Katz announced on Thursday that after Hezbollah’s attacks, the army would expand its operations into Lebanon, threatening further escalation.

“I warned the Lebanese president that if the Lebanese government does not know how to control the territory and prevent Hezbollah from threatening the northern settlements and firing at Israel, we will take the territory and do it ourselves,” he added.

Recall, following the cease fire between Israel and Hezbollah in the fall of 24, Hezbollah did indeed cease fire, while Israel ignored the cease fire and executed strikes into Lebanon almost daily. Hezbollah did launch a salvo of rockets toward Haifa following the initial attacks on Iran. Israel used that one strike by Hezbollah, as an excuse to invade Lebanon, yet again.
