I can't help but think of all the previous generations who worked so hard to make the US into a great country--all the sacrifices made, putting lives on the line and losing them--and for what? So Trump could hijack the USA and turn it into his own "brand" and "corporation" to use for his own profit and power grab, to feed his monstrous ego and bank account, neither of which needs feeding?
So we could roll out the red carpet for corrupt war criminal dictators, turn against our long-time allies, rewrite history, set back environmental science and health advances some 70 years or more, ditto advances in social awareness, suppress science and free press and anyone who happens to "get in the way", so Trump can keep on "grabbin' 'em by the pussy"?

I would think the Dems could sue the Rep leadership for violation of their basic rights. They violated no law (that I'm aware of), but are -almost- under house arrest. They can go anywhere they want, and do anything they want (within the law), and if the Rep leadership interferes with that, I would think that would be grounds for a serious lawsuit that would empty Rep coffers.
