Tidbit on the news last night, about the impact on various departments. The WD has the largest headcount reduction, something over 300,000, but that isn't the largest RIF, as a percent of staff. The largest cuts, as a percent, the report cited were the EPA, and Labor Department, cuts of 70-80%. What do the EPA and Labor Department have in common? They enact and enforce regs that "burden" the "JCs".
I looked for a link this morning, but nana. Even the Google net sifter did not have an answer for departments with the largest RIF, as a percentage of staff.
