Hilarious, and true. The media is poo.
Covid came to Michigan in late March. In early March, I had my checkup at the dentist, had the oil changed and snow tires taken off my car, and bought a big package of toilet paper, from the fully stocked shelves at the grocery store, because I was down to only a couple rolls at home.
Two weeks later, the media started toilet paper hysteria, and the shelves were picked clean.
As it happens, the grocery store has had TP on sale this week. I picked up two 12 roll packages.
I wondered, the other day, about the cumulative effect of high gas prices, high inflation for many other things, AI decimating "knowledge workers", and plague hysteria, all sweeping the country this year. Glad I don't have any stock in airlines, cruise lines, hotels, or movie theaters.
