The below was posted on another board but I think this board is more appropriate.

The question that comes to my mind is why are there less border crossings. Perhaps because the Republicans are not following the laws of the USA regarding political asylum. So therefore less people are trying to get into the country. There were two possible approaches, change the law or ignore the law. Republicans are not known for being pro law abiding, especially considering who they elected as their leader.

Easy. Because incentives drive behavior. liberals never underrated that most basic of human impulses and it’s why all their programs eventually fail.

Take away the incentive to run the border…get fewer people running the border.

Perhaps because the Republicans are not following the laws of the USA regarding political asylum.

You might want to instead co sided the actions of the last administration.
