ICE fired on a US citizen in Chicago.
They tried to claim she fired first. She brandished a weapon. She rammed their car. She was “fine” and able to drive herself to the hospital.
Body cam footage never lies.
Turns out they rammed her. She never fired. She had a weapon but was licensed to carry and it stayed on her seat. She didn’t drive herself to the hospital, she ended up at a car repair shop bleeding from SEVEN bullet wounds.
Paramedics found her there.
They will always try to twist the narrative.
Blame the victim.
What matters is they shot at a citizen on US soil when they had no reason to do so.
How is that not domestic terrorism?

Got a link? I posted the repair shop on reddit and that she had 7 holes with 5 shots, but arm in front of chest is plausible, the body cam video shows she wasn't coming toward them, and one of the shouted, "Do something bitch!" and then fired, but if the body cam footage shows them ramming her, and she never brandished - the story is upside down. Now I wonder if there were 10 cars.

So Mike, why did Gov Abbott send Texas Guard troops to Chicago, over the objections of the Illinois governor, in order to terrorize the citizens of Chicago?
Or is your head so deep in the FOXNews fantasy that you literally cannot see what is actually happening there?

I would like to see the body cam video.
Keep in mind, the ICE armed militia have kicked down down the doors of American citizens without a warrant, searched their homes, and handcuffed them for hours without letting them call a lawyer or telling them why they were taken into custody.
If my pocket Constitution is correct, that’s illegal. Not a good look for people who are supposed to enforce the law.

I do see the Mayor and Governor doing nothing about the 20 to 40 shootings that every weekend in Chicago and have been going back years. I see them caring more about political posturing than the safety of the residents. I see them ordering a non response when fellow officers, surrounded and under siege, call for help. I see interviews with regular people who live in the violent neighborhoods begging for someone to help them. Last of all, I see the dems on the wrong side of yet another 80-20 issue.

I do see the Mayor and Governor doing nothing about the 20 to 40 shootings that every weekend in Chicago and have been going back years.Chicago is a large city, so it rings up big numbers for everything. Several other cities actually have higher rates of shootings/murders, and some of them are in red states. According to Wiki, Memphis, in a red state, has the third highest rate for murder and non-negligent manslaughter, at 40.61/100000. Chicago ranks 22nd, with a murder and non-negligent manslaughter rate of 17.47/100000 Portland ranks 56th, with a murder rate of 10.75/100000
But you knew that, didn't you?

“You see” a lot when it comes to Chicago, yet you turn a blind eye to the reality of the situation. The Trump administration’s actions sending unrequested armed militia to Chicago has nothing to do with crime and everything to do with petty, vindictive behavior.
According to 2024 FBI data, here are the top 10 cities with the highest rates of violent crimes per 100,000 people. Please note that Chicago, Portland, and LA didn’t make the list of both red and blue states:
Memphis, TN: 2,501.3
Detroit, MI: 1,781.3
Baltimore, MD: 1,606.2
Houston, TX: 1,148.2
Nashville, TN: 1,124.1
Denver, CO: 993.0
Washington, D.C.: 925.9
Philadelphia, PA: 908.7
Indianapolis, IN: 877.9
Phoenix, AZ: 799.6
Chicago rated 29 for violent crime rate. Portland ranked 72 for violent crime rate. LA has a lower violent crime rate than Miami.
It is ignorant to think these cities are being targeted because of violent crimes. They are being targeted because they are in predominantly Democrat states.
The facts reveal the truth.
I do not condone any violent crime, but Trump insidious and nefarious behavior in dividing America (blessed by Republicans) is a far greater threat to America than the violent crimes in any American city.

They've tried all the standard theories, they haven't worked, but not because they didn't try. There was a reduction in the murder solution rate from around 90% to ~60%, and that was blamed on people not cooperating with police. I wonder why? But I think reality may include the possibility that occurred in the Philippines. In areas the Philippines was getting murder clearance rates ~85%, a high clearance rate. Then they went form the manual police blotter to an electronic police blotter that got closed out every night and the data transmitted out. Keeping a second police blotter to support the stats you like no longer worked. The murder solution rate dropped to 60% and overall the solution rate was around 21%. Yes, only one in five murders were solved. And I've read about some of the solved homicides and the detective work can be very good. Still the solution rate is very low.
Chicago's solution rate is ~60% now, and they are focusing on that, but you do need the population to cooperate as most of murders are solved by detective work, along with forensic science. To do that it would help if all the beat officers were trained in how to interview people at the scene of a murder and who to interview - they're mostly crime scene control until the detectives get there.
Every time something new is tried there's an initial positive response and then it goes back to being the same. The question still goes back as to why people stopped cooperating with police. Trust methinks. And isn't Trump doing a bang up job of getting the police trusted again?

I grew up watching "Dragnet", "Adam-12", "Columbo" and the original "Five-O". The police were the good guys. The police were the ones that protected us from the bad element. Then I see a policeman sit on a man until he dies. Not a sudden mistake, in the heat of the moment. But a slow, methodical, murder. Of course, black people say that has been their reality all along. The only difference is now there are cameras everywhere to prove it. No mystery why people are disillusioned.

left that for someone to answer. It's on the obvious side isn't it. And they're right, it has been happening all along, we just don't have a good handle on how much was happening. Don't you think trump is doing a great job of restoring faith in police? He helps create the problem and then sends troops in which reinforces it.

By Glenn H. ReynoldsLet's dive in!
And in Virginia, Democratic state AG candidate Jay Jones has been revealed as a sick monster who fantasized in text messages about murdering Republican Todd Gilbert — as well as Gilbert’s “little fascist” children — over politics.
“Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy,” Jones explained.
Virginia’s Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin called the texts “violent, disgusting rhetoric.”
“Jay Jones is the poster child for the Democrat establishment and he fantasizes about murdered little children laying lifeless in their mother’s arms,” wrote Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, the GOP’s candidate for governor. Sick monster to normies = the guy most likely to be voted for by Virginia democrats.
Democrats are forever telling conservatives their “rhetoric” could lead to violence. Apparently they meant violence from Democrats.
But though the triggermen and -women are usually disturbed individuals caught up in the general climate of hysteria that Democrats have deliberately created, there’s more to this than irresponsible rhetoric captivating the unhinged.

I like that, but I use murders per 100k as a bellweather because it's less tamperable. Violent crime has more variability. It used tr be that Baltimore and St louis would be on top and switch places from #1 to #2, but now other cities get into the pic. I can't remember Chicago ever being in the top ten, but for most of my adult life Repubs have railed about Chicago's shooting.
At the state level there is always pressure to fudge the stats in many states. I friend of mine produced stats for Maine, and always said, if you're honest, they don't like you - he wouldn't cook the stats. And I told you about the Philippines. On the old MF there was a cop over in the gun forum who kept and submitted the stats to the fed for a city and he said it was very clear that the FBI didn't want any cooked stats. But there is pressure there to make the stats look better.
With murders there's a dead body, hard to get past that unless you fudge a suicide, etc.
U.S. Cities with High Homicide Rates (2024 Data)
Jackson, Mississippi: The highest reported homicide rate, nearly 78 per 100,000 people.
Birmingham, Alabama: Ranked second with 58.8 homicides per 100,000 residents.
St. Louis, Missouri: Third on the list with 54.1 homicides per 100,000.
Memphis, Tennessee: Fourth, with a rate of 40.6 homicides per 100,000.
Baltimore, Maryland: Fifth, with 34.8 murders per 100,000.
Detroit, Michigan: Sixth, with 31.2 murders per 100,000.

Over my lifetime, I have actively protested over 50 times. Most in my city, many in surrounding cities and towns, and a bunch in Washington DC. All for progressive causes.
In all those protests, I’ve never seen an iota of violence.
I recall one MAGA protest on January 6th that evolved into a violent protest and then an insurrection with several deaths, many injuries, and the destruction of government property.
As I’ve mentioned previously, self awareness isn’t your long suit.

That's a non answer. The correct answer is NO. Because HAMAS is a couple of orders of magnitude different from what's happening - Israel is an invading force from a foreign country that was attacked. It doesn't even remotely resemble what's going on.
These are constitutionally protected protests going on against their own government's actions. ICE is rounding up American citizens even after they've shown proper identification that they are citizens, not subject to deportation, and not releasing them for weeks. It isn't at all like HAMAS.
Now is the time for you to stand up Mike.
